Today, as part of our trauma-informed care initiative, we recognized Words Matter Wednesday because language has the power to heal, support, and connect. The words we choose can help create an environment where people feel safe, respected, valued, and understood. By being mindful of how we communicate, we strengthen relationships, reduce stigma, and promote a culture of compassion and recovery.
