For story time today, we read, " A Boy, A Troll ,and his chalk. This is a story about making friends. After that we tried to draw some of the things we saw in the book but mostly just things we liked. They did enjoy the hop scotch which is always a favorite. Then it was time to come inside for some play-doh fun! Come join us each Friday at 10:00!

STEAM! We had a robot building and a robot to program. We also had one that wanted to cook. Come join us each Thursday at 3:00!

Art today was fun! The children played with air dry clay and slime! I think they had a really good time! Come join us each Tuesday at 3:00!!

Board games was very interesting. The game ended in a tie between Yvonne and Jean. And we had good snacks! Come join us the 2nd and 4th Tuesday!

Fun with Legos today. They built several of the vehicles, ice cream truck, fire truck, police truck, and a couple more. Come join us each Tuesday at 300!

Storytime today was all about SPIDERS! We read a science book that tells about Super Spiders! In it were several different spiders, garden spider, wolf spider, black widow, crab spiders, and spiders with babies on their backs. There was also a jumping spider. We learned the difference in a spider(arachnid) and an insect. Spiders have two body parts and eight legs and eight eyes. They smell and taste with the hairs on their legs. The children water colored a spider web and placed a spider in it. I also gave them a spider ring! After that they went fishing, built houses and barns and played with puzzles.

Art!! We had two girls show up and enjoyed making monsters with watercolor paint and straws. They decorated them with feathers and google eyes. Then they just kept painting with the watercolors!

Storytime! Today we read "A little blue, a little yellow." This is about mixing colors and friendship. We mixed our colors using primary colors and we also mixed black and white to make gray. Then they mixed blue and yellow play-doh it made green play-doh. They took this home with them. Hopefully, they learned a little about mixing primary colors to make secondary colors! Come join us each Friday at 10:00!
