🚨🚔 Great Work by Macedonia Police Officers 🚨🚔

On October 11, Macedonia Police responded to a fast food restaurant on E. Aurora Rd for a report of two expensive guitars stolen from a vehicle while the owners were inside eating.

Ptl. Skrbin began investigating the theft and after reviewing surveillance footage he was able to track the suspect vehicle. Through his investigation, he was able to identify the vehicle and develop a suspect.

The case was then forwarded to Det. Newrones, who continued the investigation and was able to locate both stolen guitars at a pawn shop on October 12th and recovered them for their owner less than 24hrs after the theft!

We want to recognize Ptl. Skrbin and Det. Newrones for their investigative work and follow-through on this case. Their efforts are a great example of how technology and solid police work can help solve crimes.

Nice work by both officers! 🚨🚔
