On Thursday evening, we proudly welcomed students into the Eyer Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. These students represent Eyer, the East Penn School District, and our broader community. Each earned membership by meeting rigorous standards rooted in the organization’s five pillars, scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Their induction celebrates their accomplishments and marks a commitment to uphold these values through their words and actions. Through service, peer support, and leadership by example, our newest members can help make Eyer a place where every student feels safe, valued, and respected and has the confidence to ask questions, embrace challenges, and grow as a learner. We look forward to seeing them put these values into action throughout the year. A special thank you to Mrs. Bauer and Ms. Stellato for their dedicated leadership as NJHS co-advisors.

The Eyer Essentials PAWS PBIS Store opened today during all lunch periods. Students had the opportunity to redeem their PAWS stickers, earned by demonstrating positive behaviors and making good choices. Through our PBIS program, we work to recognize and celebrate students who show respect, responsibility, kindness, and other positive behaviors throughout the school day. The PAWS Store is a fun way to reinforce these expectations, encourage a positive school culture, and celebrate students for making great choices!

7th Grade Technology Education was a hive of activity this week as students brought the design process to life! Using bandsaws, chop saws, screen-printing tools, and other materials, students worked through different stages of designing, building, testing, and refining their projects. Along the way, they shared ideas, solved problems, and collaborated with classmates to turn their designs into finished products.
