Greetings Omaha Nation Food Distribution program participants. We are kindly seeking your assistance in completing a survey. This survey should take no more than 5 minutes. It comes from USDA-OIG. Omaha Tribe of Nebraska

The survey for ITOs and Participants will close at the end of the day on Friday September 18, 2026.

If you have not done so, please complete the ITO survey for your respective ITO and please ask any participants to complete the Participant version of the survey.

I have included the scannable QR codes for reference above for each survey. To complete, scan the QR Code using your phone or other device, answer the included questions, and submit. Surveys can also be accessed via the web address:

September distribution will begin on the 14th.

Due to the Labor Day holiday, Tuesday, Sept. 8th will be inventory and restocking. Wednesday thru Friday will be deliveries.

Greetings folks. With our annual Hedewachi taking place this weekend and the Tribal offices being closed on Monday, I wanted to share our distribution schedule for September.

Our office will be closed September 7 in observance of Labor Day.

Deliveries: September 3, 8, & 9. Regular distribution will begin September 10th at 9:00 am. Please be patient with us as we work through this.

Please update your mailing address, any household changes such as income or adding/removing within 10 days of change.

Staff will be attending the Mountain Plains Regional Conference August 31st - September 3rd. Any documents turned in will be addressed when staff return to the office.

Greetings Folks!

The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska is having an Employee Appreciation day tomorrow for Tribal employees.

There will be NO distribution on Friday, July 17.

We will resume distribution on Monday, July 20, 2026. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Good afternoon folks!!

Gentle reminder, please wash all your fruits and veggies thoroughly before eating.

Rinse under cool, running water for at least 30 seconds.

Pesticide residues can remain on fruits and veggies from harvesting and packing/ shipping.

Greetings Folks!

All ACTIVE participants can stop by the office Wednesday and Thursday for a bonus bag of assorted meat products.

The sausage items have been frozen since they've been delivered.

This will be for ACTIVE participants only. Distribution of the assorted meat products will be 1 bag per household until gone.

We will deliver to our regular delivery household.
