Emadco Disposal, in partnership with the Madera County Public Works Department, is hosting a free Bulky Waste Drop-Off event for Mountain Area residents of Madera County.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Outback Industrial Way in O'Neals (near Minarets High School). Please see the map below for location details

Redrock Environmental Group, in partnership with the Madera County Public Works Department, is hosting a free Bulky Waste Drop-Off event for Valley residents of Madera County.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Madera Community College campus at 30277 Avenue 12, Madera.

COMMUTER ALERT: Temporary (daytime) road closure for the eastbound travel direction will be in place on Avenue 12 between Road 38 and Riverwalk Boulevard on October 6 and October 7 to implement a traffic shift to accommodate the next stage of the Avenue 12 widening project. Eastbound traffic detour will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be back open at the end of each shift (anticipated to be 5:00 p.m.).

During the closure, eastbound traffic will be detoured at Road 38 to Avenue 10 to access State Route 41. Please refer to the detour map below for the designated detour.

Motorists should follow all posted detour signage and allow additional travel time to utilize the detour route.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to complete this improvement for the community!
