Drought Cost-Share Program: This is not a new program, OCC has re-opened the application process from March 2026 Drought Cost-Share Program. What does this mean? Just a few changes. We did receive additional funding. New applications will be taken from October 5, 2026, starting at 8:30am with a deadline of October 30, 2026, at 4:00pm. Pond Clean Outs still need to be completed by December 31, 2026, but all other practices must be completed by July 1, 2027, by 4:00pm. Eligible farmers and producers may receive payment of 80% of actual, eligible expenses, as documented by approved receipts, up to a maximum payment of $7,500 to install approved drought practice(s) in response to drought conditions or in preparation for effects of drought.

With a new drought program rolling out, we will not be having a fall tree sales, so I can adjust our trees order forms to the new prices for spring season. Spring Sales will begin February 1, 2027.

Great News!!!!

Starting October 5, 2026, the office will start taking applications for the new drought program. I don't have many details other than the application starting date of October 5, 2026, we should receive more information today. Once I receive all details I will post on here. Be watching for more updates.
