Libraries make an impact far beyond the bookshelves.

In 2025, 86,336 people attended 3,937 Madison Public Library programs, while 589 offsite programs brought library resources and experiences directly into the community, reaching 12,588 attendees.

These numbers represent thousands of moments of learning, creativity and connection, and a library system working every day to meet Madisonians where they are.

And there’s plenty more to come! Join us at this year’s Wisconsin Book Festival for even more stories, conversations and opportunities to come together over a shared love of books. Learn more here: https://www.wisconsinbookfestival.org/
