I chose to share this journey with you all and also so that I could look back on it on September 30, 2027 when it pops up in memories. This is why I have been in so much pain the past two years. I needed this much correction just to get my life back again. It is genetic it was a diagnosis of advanced degenerative disc disease. Falling on ice at work didn’t help the situation very much either the past two times that I did. And even though I am going to get better, I am always going to be classified as permanently disabled. I am gonna get better and I am going to get my life back and I wanna keep doing what I love to do which is serving the families and children of Ashtabula County and baking of course! And I have to share with my friends at AACS… that for the past two years, I felt some degree of guilt. I felt guilty for coming in a few minutes later. I usually like making it there at 7:30 but I know I’ve been arriving at about eight. And when I do come in, it’s like I head straight to my classroom and don’t want to talk to anyone. It’s not that I didn’t wanna talk to anyone. It’s because I was in such extreme pain that I need to rest my tailbone. Even walking from the handicap stall into the building hurts so bad. And when asked to come and help with emergency situations…. I started to decline because I just couldn’t physically make it there. I would be in such agonizing pain. This is the kind of pain that you think that death would be the better alternative… but I am not like that. I am wanting to love my life again. I am wanting to be a mom to my children and I’m wanting to be good team member on my case management team
At our school. They say that I had more surgery than the average spinal fusion surgery. So please, please, please…. Be patient as I heal.❤️
And I wanna say a big thank you a A BIG HUGE MAHALO for supporting the raffle my sissy started for me… I am going to keep it open. This is going to help my children with lost wages, and such when I do return home as well.
