🎢 Mrs. Duffy’s class is officially in the rollercoaster business!🎢

Our 4th graders designed and built their own rollercoasters to show their understanding of energy and motion! They put their creativity, problem-solving skills, and science knowledge to work to create some seriously awesome rides.

We may have a few future engineers in the making! 🚀

🎨 Join us in welcoming the newest member of our Horizon family, Ms. Paramo! 🎨

We are so excited to have Ms. Paramo joining us as our new Art Teacher! She is already bringing creativity, excitement, and a love of art to our students! When we asked Ms. Paramo about her goal for the Art Program at Horizon, she shared:

“My goal is for every student to leave the art room feeling creative, capable, and proud of what they made.”

We can’t wait to see all of the creativity and beautiful artwork our students will create with Ms. Paramo this year! Welcome to Horizon, Ms. Paramo! 🦅 We’re so glad you’re here!

✈️🌎 Adventure Across the Horizon! 🌎✈️

Last Friday, our Eagles packed their bags and headed out on an adventure to ROCK OUR SCHOOL! 🎸🦅 Our flight school took our wonderful travelers on some AMAZING trips around the world, with plenty of exciting stops along the way. We even made a special stop to see Dolly! 💕🤠🎶

From takeoff to landing, our students had such an amazing time exploring, learning, and making memories together! ✈️🌍 It was the perfect way to wrap up an incredible week of Dolly Days!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped plan, decorate, participate, and make this day so special for our wonderful travelers here at Horizon. 💛 We couldn’t have made the magic happen without you!

What an adventure it was! Until our next flight, Eagles! ✈️🦅🌎✨

💙⭐ It's Blue Star Families Welcome Week ⭐💙

September 26–October 4 is Blue Star Families Welcome Week. This a special time to make sure military families feel welcomed, supported, and connected within our school community.

We would love to support our students and families who have a parent preparing for or currently experiencing a deployment. If your student has a parent who is deploying, please consider completing our Deployed Parents Google Form. This helps us know how we can best support your student during this time. Deployment information is completely optional. Our goal is simply to make sure your child feels supported, cared for, and connected while their family is navigating deployment.

Thank you for allowing us to partner with your family!
