God is moving in InterVarsity large group gatherings!

When OneWay, UT-Austin’s South Asian American InterVarsity chapter, gathered for the first large group of the year, they found their room bursting with students! With an average of 70-80 students attending their events, the chapter was quickly running out of chairs!

This kind of thing is happening all over the country as students curious about Jesus and Christian community check out InterVarsity! Praise God for the incredible ways he is working in our chapters!

OneWay has requested prayer for the students who are curious about faith –– that they would continue to feel welcomed and that God would use community to draw them closer to him. Let’s pray over students like these all over the country!

Here's a glimpse of what's happening at fall retreats and conferences!

26 students from Elon University committed their weekends to Scripture study, worship, and fellowship in community. Gathered with 76 other students from chapters across North Carolina, they learned how to be “mirrors of God.”

Oh, Gerald. He's just like us! 🧡

If you haven't met Gerald, he's our resident InterVarsity mascot, Bible study aficionado, influencer, sand volleyball legend, and he *loves* a good potluck! Basically, he's all things InterVarsity!

Since coming onto the scene at Urbana '22, Gerald has been imparting wisdom to students, pursuing the good shepherd with his InterVarsity community, and reminding us to lean into joy!

Happy October! As they wrap up new student outreach, chapters are now busy preparing for fall conferences and retreats!

God works powerfully in these spaces, where students get the opportunity to unplug, set aside distractions, and bring all their questions to God. Many are about to see God move in ways they have never seen before.

Let’s take some time to cover fall conferences and retreats in prayer! Pray that:

-God would answer students’ bold questions

-Attendees would grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus

-Students would return to campus feeling empowered to do God’s work
