Yesterday, the Curiosity Cube visited our school! 🧬🌱 Students explored synthetic biology through hands-on activities, from jellyfish DNA and Golden Rice to magnetic lock-and-key models. The favorite? Building circuit cubes that lit up and spun to represent gene activation! 🔬⚡

At last week's groundbreaking ceremony, students, educators and community members shared their hopes and excitement for the new Cherokee Heights Middle School.

At the top of students’ wish list for the new school, which is on track with the next phase of the district’s 2024 facilities referendum, are a bigger gym and air conditioning.

Thank you Madison, for investing in our schools!
