As always, a few housekeeping reminders for events at Mill Creek:
Our dance tonight is in two segments. Your family is welcome to come to both if you have students in each grade or just come to one! We will ask that during the break between that you exit the building completely allowing us to reset. This is non-negotiable. We borrowed PRECIOUS pieces from NASA that we have to keep safe throughout this experience.
This event is not a drop off, and tickets (sent home via the flyer this week) are required! Adult supervision is required of your children at all times!
You will enter through the front of the school and exit in the back. Sorry! No entering through the cafeteria!
On the note of our pieces from NASA and in general, please enjoy with your EYES ONLY! Many of our pieces are maintained in ways only the creator knows. Touching, pushing, or tugging could result in safety hazards or ruining art! Our volunteers worked SO hard for MONTHS! Please, please do not touch!
You will be able to visit the alien encounter upstairs, but then must enter and exit the main stairwell. Do not enter down hallways or up and down the side stairs. There are bathrooms located near the gym and cafeteria. There is NO reason to enter down classroom hallways. We will be very strict about this. Volunteers will maintain safety points. Please mind their direction.
Parking can always be an issue! Even with re zoning, our parking lot is tight and can cause jams. Consider walking, car pooling, and using additional lots such as the dog park, Sunshine Oaks, and the greenway!
We have black lights/glow lights all around our cafeteria. Wear neon, white, or space attire if you’d like! We welcome additional glow items, but be mindful of space around others. Scary or dangerous costumes will be turned away!
We can’t wait to see everyone!
