Inclusive STEM education for all. We enhance engagement & strengthen success in STEM for students, the UW campus community & beyond.

Since 1989, WISCIENCE (the Wisconsin Institute for Science Education and Community Engagement) has collaborated with educators at all levels to create model programs, courses, events, projects, resources, forums for dialogue, and other solutions that help broaden participation in science and make science education and mentoring more effective for more people—at UW-Madison, in K-12 schools, and beyond. We provide a temporary or permanent home for effective solutions that have no other means of support, so our constellation of programming continually evolves in response to community-identified needs.

UW–Madison students: grab your colored pencils and tablets and get ready to create a unique, STEM-inspired design(s) for the 2026 WISCIENCE Sticker Contest!

The winning design(s) will be made into stickers that get shared with the campus STEM community. This is the fourth year of our annual contest, and we are excited to see what you create!

This year’s theme is Science of the Unseen.

So much of science explores phenomena we can’t easily see or touch, from microscopic worlds to hidden processes and invisible forces.

For this year’s sticker contest, we invite you to make the unseen visible and bring the hidden worlds of STEM into view!

A FEW topics you could explore (there are MANY more):
Microscopy
Astronomy
Biological processes
Chemical reactions
Mathematical models
Optics & acoustics
Data visualization

Learn more and submit your design at go.wisc.edu/f685ae
