📸✂️ Picture Day Prep Event! ✂️📸

Picture Day is coming up on Thursday, October 29th, and we want all of our LMC scholars to look and feel their best! 💛

Join us for FREE haircuts provided by our friends at Atwood Barbershop:
📅 Monday, October 26, 2026
⏰ 2-4pm & 5-7pm (barber meal break in between)
📍 Walk-in only - no appointments needed

✨ We’re also looking for volunteers to provide simple styles like twists, quick braids, and touch-ups. This is a wonderful opportunity to volunteer or promote your business while helping our scholars shine with confidence for Picture Day. Dinner will be provided for all haircare specialists!

🏗️ Breaking Ground: Building for the Future

Reminder: Join Us tomorrow, October 14, we’ll officially break ground on two more schools included in Phase 2 of the projects made possible by the community’s support of the 2024 Referendum.

These new facilities are designed to support modern instruction, foster collaboration and create inclusive, accessible spaces that meet the diverse needs of our students.
