What would your day look like without water?

No water to drink. No coffee brewing. No showers, laundry, flushing toilets, cooking, firefighting, farming, or running the businesses and industries our communities depend on.

**Imagine a Day Without Water** is a national day of awareness that reminds us just how essential reliable water and wastewater services are — and recognizes the dedicated professionals who work every day to keep those services running.

As we celebrate the Fourth of July, we honor the freedoms we enjoy and recognize the dedicated water and wastewater professionals who work every day — including holidays — to provide safe, reliable drinking water and protect public health.

Thank you to the operators, utility staff, emergency responders, and all those who help keep our communities running.
