Progress grades have been posted in Infinite Campus.
With Standards Based Grading, progress is reported as:
➡️ AP (Adequate Progress): The student is progressing as expected toward meeting standards within core skills.
➡️ MP (Minimal Progress): The student needs additional practice to meet standards within core skills. Next step: They should meet with their teacher to review feedback and plan practice steps.
➡️ NP (No Progress due to Insufficient Evidence): The student needs to submit missing practice work or assessments so we can evaluate their learning. Next step: They should check in with their teacher to confirm what evidence is needed.
These marks reflect a continuous learning cycle that centers on mastering core academic skills and giving students the opportunity to take ownership of their academic development. Standards-Based learning doesn’t get rid of assessments or grades — what it does is change how we measure success. By focusing on specific core skills with clear goals, students are able to self-assess, navigate setbacks and chart a path forward. Our goal is to empower students to grow in their learning by tackling harder problems and complex tasks without fear of failure on the first try.
