Turn Holiday Shopping into Auction Money!

Residents are being notified that when they shop at participating businesses in November and December, they can keep their receipts in a specially provided envelope and turn those receipts into Madison Money to spend at our auction on January 9.

Businesses can participate by agreeing to distribute the envelopes to customers and provide an auction prize valued at $100 or more.

Lots of activity in the Madison Station Botanic Garden today. Lorilee, John, and Marsha Larsen toured the grounds while Master Gardeners worked to beautify the spaces. The pumpkin arch will be up until November 13, so be sure and get your fall photo soon!

Youngsters have been delighted with Hay Bale Woody, so they should be thrilled at the Woody character who will be at the Scarecrow Festival Thursday! Woody and WAGS will be joining in all the fun of inflatables, petting zoo, cake walk, face painting, train rides, Photo Booth, Madison County Bookmobile, tattoos, Glam Cutie, Burn Boot Camp obstacle course, State Farm Spin the Wheel game, corn hole, Kung Fu, Raising Cane's lemonade and tea, Community Bank, and Kid Strong mini obstacle course. Everything is free except for the food vendors: AHA Bistro, Burgers and Blues, C & C Dye-Free Cotton Candy, Frosty Freeze, Lucy's Lemonade, Pickles Snoballs, and Pizza Shack. Parents and grandparents, be sure and stop by the Business Network tent to pick up a Santa Express swag bag!
