10.19.2026 A second main break has occurred. Customers who live on Longmeadow Road will have an interruption in service while we work to repair a broken water main. Service should be restored by 5:00pm today

Status update 10.19.2026 at 12:30: Customers located east of Hughes Road and north of Gillespie may experience low water pressure while crews repair damage to a water main.

We expect repairs to be completed and normal water service to be restored by approximately 4:00 p.m. this afternoon.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue as quickly and safely as possible.

Update 10.13.2026 at 11:15am Madison Utilities is currently experiencing technical issues which are limiting the system access of the customer service department. It is anticipated that service should be restored in the next 1-2 hours. We apologize for any inconvenience

Notification for Maple Street Residents: On October 27th, 2026 work will begin to install new water service lines as part of our ongoing upgrades associated with the Church Street/Downtown Project. Residents may experience temporary or limited access while the work is being completed. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve the water system in your area.

Effective Wednesday, September 2, 2026, a new notification process will be implemented for customers with an email address on file. When continuous usage is detected for a period of seven days, an email notification will be sent advising you of the activity and allowing you to investigate as needed.
