🗳️Important Election Update: In-person Early Voting Begins Tomorrow!

If you prefer to cast your ballot before Election Day, in-person early (absentee) voting starts tomorrow for many local municipalities. It is a convenient alternative to voting by mail.

Before you head out:
📍Check your eligibility and locations: Not all municipalities share the same early voting schedule or polling sites.
📲Contact your local clerk: Reach out directly to your municipal clerk's office or visit your local government website to confirm hours and locations.

Plan ahead and make your voice heard this fall!

Monday night I spoke to a group of Lake Country residents who are concerned about the future of our lakes. Lake Country Clean Waters organized the event and I was joined by Representative Barbara Dittrich.

We discussed previous wakeboat legislation, PFAs/PFOs, flooding/dam issues, and more. I always enjoy engaging with lake leaders on improving our precious corner of Wisconsin!

🚧Road construction update🚧

Elmhurst Road, near Golf Ridge/the Welshire Farm development will be closed for an extended period of time. Originally a 2-3 day project, the crew installing a sewer line encountered a rock in their path. Estimates are that Elmhurst Rd will not be fully open for 3-4 weeks while the rock is removed.

🌸October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month💗

This October is special because we are celebrating Gail's Law becoming law. Wisconsin women now have greater access to supplemental screenings for breast cancer. Early detection saves lives and helps those affected return to normalcy more quickly, improving quality of life.

I am proud of the work we did this session to fight for Wisconsin women. Oftentimes it takes women to fight on behalf of other women to make meaningful change. Thank you to Representative Amanda Nedweski and Senator Rachael Cabral-Guevara for your tireless work to get Gail's Law across the finish line.

Finally, thank you to Gail Zeamer, the namesake of this law, and her supportive family. We would not be here today without your advocacy!
