Congratulations to everyone in 4th period Agriscience for completing their OSHA-10 certifications and winning the pizza party! And congratulations to students in 2nd and 3rd Agriscience who also finished their certifications this semester. It's a lot of hard work and a long process. OSHA-10 will help them be ready to enter the workforce after graduation!

Monroe County ended National 4-H Week with an exclamation point! The 4-H Forestry Judging Team competed at the state contest earlier today at the UT Arboretum in Oak Ridge, and placed 1st! They will compete at the National 4-H Invitational at West Virginia in July 2027. Team members were: Thomas Stroud, Levi West, Lucas Partin, and William Warwick. Our first annual 50 Inning Game Fundraiser and Tailgate Experience. was a huge hit! The turnout was GREAT, the bats were HOT, the games were FUN, the burgs and dogs were ENDLESS and memories were MADE! And we couldn’t have done it without YOU, Chief Nation! Special thanks to Tyson Clement, C.J. Culpepper, Brandon Watson, Jason Lewis & Amber Ogle Lewis and family, Jess Raby, the coaches and parent volunteers. Thank you for coming out and supporting your Baseball Chiefs. See you next Spring!

Today's events to support childhood cancer awareness:
-Baseball scrimmage and tailgate for the football game Friday 4:00-6:00. FREE FOOD. We will have activities students can participate in. Wear your gold and come have a good time.
-Red Squad will be painting up pregame
-Hero Wall at the game
-Pass the bucket for donations at the game
-Pregame ceremony honoring those touched by Childhood Cancer-Gold Out the stands theme for dress up
