Scammers are actively using deceptive phone calls and emails to impersonate law enforcement, utility companies, and federal agencies, demanding immediate payment under threats of legal action.

Remember: The Madisonville Police Department nor ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCY will call or email you demanding immediate payment, gift cards, or wire transfers. If you receive any communication of these types disregard it.

Join the Madison County District Attorney's Office, Madison County Sheriff's Office, and Madisonville Police Department for the First Annual Madison County Citizens' Academy.

Madison County Citizens' Academy is an interactive, behind-the-scenes experience designed to give community members an inside look at the criminal justice system and the important work local law enforcement does daily.

You will hear from the Madison County District Attorney's Office, Madison County Sheriff's Office, and Madisonville Police Department regarding how each agency operates, crimes affecting our community, and the efforts being made to keep Madison County safe.
