🚒 Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department – Structure Fire Response

On September 15, 2026 at approximately 1945 hrs, Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 4000 block of Sweetwater Vonore Road.

Upon arrival, crews encountered a fully involved garage fire with a vehicle also involved. Vonore Fire Department was first on scene and did an outstanding job protecting the adjacent residence, preventing the fire from spreading to the house.

The fire was brought under control within minutes, and crews continued mop-up operations until all hotspots were extinguished.

We want to extend our sincere thanks to all the neighboring departments that assisted during this incident. We also appreciate Tri-State Mutual Aid crews for covering our calls while our crews were tied up.

Most importantly, thank you to our community for your continued support of Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department. Your encouragement means so much to our firefighters and volunteers.

Together, we make our community stronger! 🔥🚒

Thank to our mutual aid crews. Monroe Battalion 1, Notchey Creek Fire, Hopewell Fire, Vonore Fire, Madisonville Fire, and Christianburg Fire

Congrats to Firefighter Lee Fadeley for earning his college degree in Fire Science. What an awesome accomplishment.

Another congratulations is in order for our Deputy Chief, Lee Fadeley on his graduation. Lee graduated on May 9th from Vol State Community College and received his Associates Degree in Fire Science, with a final GPA of a 3.8. Right before starting this endeavor he also obtained his Fire Officer 4 Certification (He wouldn't let us post it when he got it, so I'm sneaking it in now!🤭) Congratulations Lee!
