🍂🔥 BURN PERMIT SEASON BEGINS OCTOBER 15
Notchey Creek Fire-Rescue reminds residents that Tennessee requires a burn permit for outdoor debris burning October 15 through May 15.

✅ Natural yard debris: Leaves, brush, branches, limbs and yard trimmings grown on your property, where burning is allowed.
🚫 Do not burn: Household trash, plastics, tires, cardboard, paper, construction debris, or treated or painted wood.
Before lighting your pile:
• Check local restrictions, burn bans and weather.
• Avoid windy conditions.
• Clear flammable material from around the pile.
• Keep water and tools nearby.
• Stay with your fire until it is completely extinguished.
A permit does not override burn bans or local restrictions. If your fire escapes, call 911 immediately.
