On October 15th, we took part in Purple Thursday where we wore purple to stand in solidarity with survivors of domestic violence, honor their strength, and remind our community that no one should ever have to face abuse alone. 💜

At CASA Monroe, we believe every individual deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued. By wearing purple, we help raise awareness, show our support for survivors, and remind those experiencing domestic violence that they are not alone. There is hope, there is help, and there is a community that cares.
Together, we can help break the silence, end the stigma, and build a safer future for families in our community.

A special thank you to Monroe STOPe for the important work you do to support survivors and strengthen our community.

🎉 Happy National Boss’s Day! 🎉

At CASA Monroe, our boss wears MANY hats, and somehow manages to wear them all with grace, compassion, and a whole lot of heart! ❤️ From leading our team to advocating for the children we serve, she gives so much of herself to our mission every single day. Today we celebrate YOU and we appreciate you more than you know!

Some of our CASA staff attended the Tri-State CASA Conference alongside dedicated staff from programs across Georgia and Kentucky. They’re coming home inspired, energized, and full of new ideas to help strengthen the work we do for children and families in our community!

A note from our Tennessee CASA Executive Director, Lynne Farrar:
“The CASA network is made up of 31 programs serving 63 of Tennessee’s 95 counties. In fiscal year 2026, 1,351 volunteers served 6,362 children, contributing 161,870 hours of service valued at $5.85 million. We are so proud of the impact CASA volunteers make on behalf of children in Tennessee.”

We’re grateful for our incredible CASA volunteers and the difference they make every day! ❤️💙

💙 October is Child Health Month, and today is National Child Health Day! 💙

Every child deserves more than a safe place to live—they deserve the support, services, and care they need to grow and thrive.

CASA volunteers advocate for children’s health and well-being by making sure their needs are heard, their voices are represented, and they have access to the services they need.

Because every child deserves the chance to be safe, healthy, and supported.
