Congratulations to Chief John Huston who was recognized at last evenings council meeting by Chief Berdine and EMT Mertz of the Magnolia Ambulance Corps. They presented Chief Huston a recognition for his “Humanitarian Spirit” for his dedication to helping others.

The chief was specifically recognized for his acknowledgment of the diversity of our community and respect, dignity, and openness he has shown for his fellow first responders individuality and different backgrounds.

Congratulations Chief Huston! We continually are proud of the leadership and pride you provide to the entire police department and all of our fellow first responders

Today, the Magnolia Police Department honors the 2,977 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and remembers the courage, service, and sacrifice of the first responders who answered the call.

We also recognize the families, survivors, members of the military, and all Americans whose lives were forever changed. May we continue to carry forward the unity, resilience, and commitment to service that emerged from that day.

Never Forget — September 11, 2001.

HELLO MAGNOLIA! - BACK TO SCHOOL SEASON IS HERE! WATCH OUT FOR OUR CHILDREN!

NEW PEDESTRIAN CROSSING SIGNAL INSTALLED IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL AT WARWICK ROAD AND LINCOLN AVENUE!

Mayor Cowling-Carson, the Magnolia Borough Council, and the Magnolia Board of Education & Administration partnered with the Camden County Board of Commissioners to jointly fund and support this important pedestrian improvement. This new pedestrian safety crossing signal is in addition to the recently added system located at Albertson and Evesham Avenues. Both systems work identically: flashing yellow lights blink when someone activates them by pushing the button on the signposts. This improvement should increase awareness among drivers on Warwick Road to YIELD to staff and students crossing the street. This will also assist the crossing guard posted at that location.

BACK TO SCHOOL DATES:
Magnolia Public School: September 2nd
Sterling High School - September 2nd
Camden County Technical Schools - September 3rd

HAVE A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR TO ALL OUR STUDENTS AND STAFF!
