Mahwah Fire Department Company 2 Supports Dina Picciallo’s Road to Recovery

Mahwah Fire Department Company 2 is proud to support the GoFundMe for Dina Picciallo as she begins her long road to recovery, and we encourage our community to come together to support her and her family.

This cause is especially close to our hearts. Dina’s husband has dedicated 35 years to serving as a firefighter, and her child has recently followed in his footsteps after spending the past three years serving others as an EMT.

After years of this family serving others, it’s our turn to give back. We hope our community will join us in helping Dina receive the care and resources she needs throughout her recovery.

Proud to be part of history tonight. Mahwah FD stood by for Mahwah High School’s first bonfire in over 30 years - 10.8.26. Safe burn, great crowd, great kids. Thank you to Mahwah Township Public Schools and everyone who made this comeback happen. Go T-birds!!!

Last week's drill with Mahwah Res1cue and Mahwah EMS consisted of us refreshing our techniques on lifting and moving patients as we are sometimes called upon by EMS to help move a patient wherever it may be needed. We trained on using a stokes basket and the LUCAS machine to get a patient out that is in need of CPR also. It was a very informative drill for everyone and thank you to all who participated.
