Our board of directors recently toured Maslow’s Pantry to learn more about how this valuable resource supports Maize USD 266 students and families.

Maslow's Pantry provides food, clothing, hygiene products, and other items to Maize families in need. Requesting assistance is easy, and resources are delivered with privacy and dignity.

After we made a donation to Maslow’s Pantry last month, we are excited to learn that our donation helped to provide a month’s worth of food to more than 30 individuals!

Thank you to Maize USD 266 teachers Dru Walter and Melissa Paulus for the tour and for serving Maize families in this way.

"I put in a lot of effort to take as much as I could from this amazing opportunity and I can only hope others will do the same."

Thank you to Maize High School junior Addison Wadsworth for sharing this feedback on our Student Enrichment Grant program! Over the summer, Addison attended the Emory Debate Institute to strengthen her public speaking abilities and confidence with help from Maize Education Foundation funding.

The Student Enrichment Grant application closes two weeks from today: Friday, Oct. 30, 2026. Maize USD 266 students in grades 7-12 can apply today!

From exploring iconic landmarks to discovering postsecondary opportunities, a school trip to New York City made a lasting impression on two Maize USD 266 students!

With help from Student Enrichment Grants, Maize South Middle School's Amrie Smith and Maize Middle School's Samuel Wiseman explored new cultures, learned about city life, and discovered possibilities for their futures.

Through the 266 Club, we are building an endowment to support students and educators for generations to come.

From 3D printers and CPR equipment to calculators and sewing machines, foundation-funded projects have helped turn learning into hands-on experiences for Maize students.

Now, we’re building for the future.

Help us reach our goal of raising $70,000 by being among the first 266 families to join the 266 Club. These founding families will leave a legacy with name recognition inside the state-of-the-art Maize Performing Arts and Aquatics Center.

With a $266 gift, you invest in students, in educators, and in the future of Maize.

LEAVE A LEGACY. JOIN THE CLUB.

Reach for the stars! 💫

That is exactly what Maize High School student Isla Wadsworth did this summer, when she attended Lunar Trek Space Camp at the Cosmosphere with help from Student Enrichment Grant funding.

From learning to solder and designing a 3D-printed moon rock scoop to building a prototype on a budget and presenting it to the entire camp, Isla gained vital skills, self-confidence, and a whole new appreciation for science.

Last Friday was a GREAT day to be an Eagle or a Maverick!

We had so much fun supporting all of Maize USD 266 at the annual Maize High School vs. Maize South High School football game! The first 600 fans at the game received a RED or GOLD Maize Education Foundation rally towel to show their school pride. Thank you to the board members and student volunteers who helped us distribute towels!

Then, between first and second quarters, we were able to hang out in the end zone to announce the winning school and educator from our giveaway earlier this month. Congratulations to Maize Intermediate School on receiving a donation of school supplies from Project Teacher, and congratulations to MIS Science Teacher Darmin Owings on receiving a $500 classroom stipend from the foundation!

We are proud to support Maize USD 266 inside classrooms and out on the turf. 🏈🍎
