We're up to the last 2 propositions and 2 local measures for Mono County!

Remember to check vote411 to research more about your ballot, and reach out to us if you have any questions.

10/08/2026

We continue our informational ballot series with California propositions 40, 41, 42, and 43.

As you've likely seen, props 40, 41, and 42 depend on each other. In order for prop 40 to pass, props 41 and 42 need to fail.

There is a LOT of propaganda out there from the billionaires to get prop 40 to fail. It's inspiring to see so many of their online ads backfiring, with overwhelming messages of "yes on 40" in the comments of these ads that are trying to get people to vote against the proposition.

It's time that We, the People, use our power to change the dynamic in this country.

Some of that starts with getting involved locally. This Saturday will be a Day of a action across the state - and we will be participating here in Mono County!

If you are free and looking for a way to have a positive impact, please join us!

Our informational series continues with propositions 5, 37, 38, and 39. Learn about each prop and where the California Democratic party stands.

Always remember to do your own research from an unbiased resource like vote411 that can give you all the information you need to cast an informed vote.

Free this Saturday? We can use your help - reach out to learn how you can get involved and make a difference in our community!

It's time to vote!

Ballots have officially dropped, and voting in this midterm election is crucial.

For Mono county, there are a lot of very important candidates, propositions, and measures to consider. When you open your ballot, it might feel overwhelming, so we'll be sharing some information to help!

Remember - it's important to do your own research, and there are several great, non-partisan resources out there. The League of Women Voters of California provides unbiased explanations and recommendations on ballot measures and candidates. Vote411 also offers personalized voting information, including what's on your ballot and polling locations.

If you're available, we also need volunteers to help with our participation in the statewide day of action on October 10th (this coming Saturday). Reach out if you have questions, or RSVP here: https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/1038213/?referring_vol=582749&rnam

Okay, everyone - this is important!

As we know, fewer people vote in midterm elections, but the stakes are high and using the power of your vote has never been more important.

We're hosting a day of action on October 10th and could really use your help. We desperately need people to help canvas and phone bank.

What will you be doing? Engaging with democrats through the county to encourage them to vote, and sharing important deadlines for the election.

It's that simple!

Please join us in moving the needle towards protecting our democracy.

For over a year, hundreds of people in the Eastern Sierra (millions nationwide) have come together to send a clear message: in America, we have no kings.
