The City of Mammoth Spring DID NOT turn off water this morning. Someone was digging and hit a water line causing water loss to several customers. When this happens, it takes a while to find it, and then repair it. City Hall is closed today for Labor Day, but we receive messages and work on issues when we are made aware of them as quickly as possible, even on holidays. We do not respond to those messages until we have the problem located. We know water is important, especially on hot summer days and apologize for the inconvenience.

CHANGES WILL BE COMING SOON TO TRASH PICKUP DAYS!!!!!!!!!!

Waste Connections will be making changes to the pick up days for Mammoth Spring Residents. Beginning this week, if you normally have trash pick up on Thursday that is collected by the side arm truck your trash pickup day will be changing to Tuesday beginning September 8th. This will be a permanent change. Trash pickup will continue on Tuesdays for these customers. This applies only to residents that are serviced by the side arm truck, all other customers will continue with their normal pick day. If you have any questions please call Waste Connections @ 870-994-7000.

Thank you citizens, for all of the calls! The leak has been found and they are currently working on it. As long as they do not have to shut off water and it can keep running through the lines, we will not need a boil water order. If this should change, we will update you. Again, at this time, the City of Mammoth Spring, is NOT under a boil water order.
