🩺 Annual Physicals Begin Today! 🚒
Today marks the start of our department’s annual physicals, and taking care of our firefighters starts with taking care of their health.

Through LIFESCAN, our personnel participate in comprehensive screenings and exams designed to help identify and prevent health risks, including cardiovascular disease, cancer, and the effects of occupational stress.

Our department follows NFPA 1582 standards, which include medical examinations and fitness evaluations to help ensure our firefighters are healthy, fit, and ready to safely perform the job’s demanding work.

The goal is simple:
❤️ Protect our firefighters’ health
💪 Ensure duty readiness
🧠 Address the impacts of stress and overexertion
🎗️ Reduce occupational cancer risks
🚒 Keep our personnel ready to serve our community

Our firefighters spend their careers protecting others. Annual physicals are one way we protect them.

Thank you to our personnel for prioritizing their health and wellness—and to the medical professionals helping keep our team healthy and ready to respond.

Healthy firefighters. Stronger department. Safer community.
