What better way to celebrate International Day of the Air Traffic Controller than with a groundbreaking!

It was great to join our federal and local partners at Washington Manassas Regional Airport for the groundbreaking of their new air traffic control tower, a project 26 years in the making! The new tower will provide improved visibility for controllers, helping ensure safe airport operations for years to come.

Congratulations to everyone who helped make this possible!

Cold weather couldn’t stop our amazing volunteers yesterday! We officially kicked off build day for the county’s second project at Hellwig Park in the Coles District alongside AWS and KABOOM!✨

Thank you to everyone who stepped up to create a wonderful new play space for our children!

You told the county what matters in 2024. Now it’s time to hear from you again.

In the last Prince William County Community Survey, residents shared what they wanted county leaders to focus on including safety and security, transportation, traffic, schools and education, development, infrastructure and taxes.

Those responses help county leaders understand community priorities and inform decisions about services, programs and the future of Prince William County.

The 2026 Community Survey is your next opportunity to be heard.
If your household was randomly selected for the statistically valid survey, complete the survey you received by mail or online.

Didn’t receive a survey in the mail? The survey opens to all residents on this coming Monday, October 12.

All surveys close November 2.

It’s your home. It’s your voice.

Roman Cervone has been playing volleyball since he was 11, and his sister started playing before that. But he had to play on girls’ travel teams because there weren’t any boys’ volleyball programs in Prince William County, Virginia, middle schools.

Breast cancer remains the second-leading cause of cancer death among women in Virginia. This month, we honor those fighting, celebrate survivors, and remember those we’ve lost.
