Celebrating Arielle Dickey, Mancelona High School Class of 2026!

Arielle Dickey is an outstanding example of self-motivation, determination, and a strong work ethic!

While at MHS, Arielle worked at Woodland Creek Furniture, starting her workday at 6 am before attending high school in the afternoon. Through her hard work and dedication, she earned an impressive salary while still in high school!

After graduation, Arielle continued pursuing her goals and began training for a career as a diesel mechanic with Michigan Caterpillar in Kalkaska. She is currently attending Owens Community College in Ohio through a hands-on training program that includes eight weeks of classroom instruction followed by 12 weeks of on-the-job training in the field.

At just 19 years old, Arielle is already earning a great wage while developing valuable skills for her future career at this two-year program.

Arielle's story is a powerful reminder with a clear goal, a willingness to work hard, and the drive to keep learning, our students build rewarding futures!

We are grateful to Arielle for returning to the classroom to share her experiences and encourage our current students to pursue their goals with the same determination and work ethic!
