Today, we remember the heroes of D-Day whose courage and sacrifice changed the course of history. As we mark the anniversary of June 6, 1944, we honor the service members who fought for freedom and reflect on the enduring legacy they left behind. Their bravery will never be forgotten.

Taco Tour is underway in Downtown Manchester!

On this Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women of our armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage and selflessness will never be forgotten.

It is because of their sacrifice that we enjoy the freedoms that make America the greatest nation on Earth.

Monday, the city comes together to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, while also celebrating America’s 250th birthday!

Following the parade, the Manchester Veterans Council will host a special dedication ceremony for the new Gulf Wars and War on Terror Monument in Veterans Park.

When: Monday, May 25, 2026

Parade Kickoff: 2:00 p.m.

Route: Elm Street (from Bridge Street to Central Street)

Post-Parade: Monument Dedication at Veterans Park

⚠️ Important Info for Attendees & Participants

🚗 Road Closure: Elm Street will close at 7:00 a.m. All vehicles must be moved before this time.

🛑 Participant Lineup: 12:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. (Strict cutoff: All units must be in place by 1:45 p.m. or they will be turned away!)

Happy National Public Works Week to the incredible team at the City of Manchester DPW. Today, I was proud to recognize the hardworking staff members who keep Manchester moving every single day.

Their commitment to serving our community does not go unnoticed, and our city is stronger because of their hard work and dedication. Thank you to our DPW crew for everything you do for Manchester and its residents.

Today, we joined community partners to officially cut the ribbon on Grand Central Suites on Central Street, bringing new apartment homes to the center of our city. It’s great to see continued investment in downtown and more opportunities for people to live, work, and enjoy everything Manchester has to offer.
