Delta Mu Delta at SNHU, Gamma Nu Chapter

The Gamma Nu Chapter of Delta Mu Delta is starting the spring semester off with a bang. There are several upcoming events that you may be interested in being a part of.

1. Panel Judges: The New Hampshire chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is hosting a conference on March 23 in which high school students compete in written and verbal contests in different business disciplines. As an honor society focused around business and education, we will be volunteering our time to be panel judges for the presentations. If you are interested and available to be a judge contact Benjamin Harris, [email protected]. The conference is held on a Thursday and you will be judging in the afternoon. Once Ben receives this information, you will receive an email about which topics interest you most.

2. Munchiez Food Truck: As another way to give back to the community, Delta Mu Delta is looking to work a night at the Munchiez Food Truck on campus! A date has not been decided yet, but we wanted to gauge your interest on whether or not you would like to work. It is a lot of fun, and it allows Delta Mu Delta to assist the School of Business and market our organization! If interested email, [email protected].

3. Walk For MS: Delta Mu Delta will be taking part in the Walk For MS on Sunday, April 17 in Arms Park in Manchester, NH. Check-in begins at 9am and the opening ceremonies begins at 10am. One of SNHU's own business classes with Dr. Matthews is planning and executing the entire event, and this would be a great way for our organization to support our peers! 4. Final Meeting: Mark you calendars; our final meeting of the spring semester will be on April 26 at 3:30pm in the ACC Learning Commons! Here we will wrap up the year and elect a new executive board for the upcoming year! More details to come!

The DMD General Membership Meeting is tomorrow (Wednesday, October 28th) at 6:30PM in the ACC Learning Commons. This meeting is open to all current members of DMD. Pizza will be served. Come see what's in store for this academic year. We hope to see you there.

Congratulations to the SNHU Gamma Nu Chapter of Delta Mu Delta for receiving the 2015 Star Chapter Award for outstanding performance in chapter operations and administration.

Congratulations to Gamma Nu Chapter for receiving the Delta Mu Delta Star Chapter Award!

Star Chapter Gamma Nu at Southern New Hampshire University sponsored Tips, Tricks, & Tactics, a highly success career preparation/networking event. The chapter partnered with the student chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management at SNHU in 2012 and 2013. Plans are underway for a similar event in the upcoming year!

Be sure to attend the membership meeting at 5pm on Monday in Salon A of the Hospitality Center. It is a great opportunity for new and current members to network with one another and learn about the Delta Mu Delta Scholarship Awards Program. We hope to see you there!

The National Delta Mu Delta Scholarship Awards Program has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars to deserving business scholars. Members of Delta Mu Delta –Gamma Nu Chapter has been awarded quite a few of these scholarships. We’d love to see another member of the Gamma Nu Chapter take home another scholarship!
