A big thank you is overdue for all our Ward 1 neighbors who came out to vote in Tuesday's election. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall turnout and the results which had me in the lead in the State Rep totals.

I have been a little behind this year, pacing myself due to knee issues that I will be surgically dealing with over the summer break next year...eek! I have enjoyed checking in with everyone and will continue to do so, and please do not hesitate to reach out in the meanwhile if you have any questions or concerns whatsoever!

The most dramatic results came with the results for the floterial district that includes my Ward, the Hillsborough District 40 primary. My favored candidate, Richard Robert-Snipes TIED for 4th place w/ Leo Bernier (who has proven himself to be less than trustworthy).

By law the Secretary of State determines the winner by a lotto drawing that involves balls being drawn out of a jar. Rob's ball was drawn and he was declared the official winner. Understandably Leo requested a recount which will take place on Monday at 9am. We have gathered a great team, myself included, to observe this process and we are anxiously awaiting the outcome! I will update everyone on the results this coming Monday afternoon!

Thank you Timothy Horrigan for the clarification, and for being a valuable member of the House and one of my favorite colleagues. One thing I admire the most about him is that no matter how many bills we have, I can count on seeing a testimony from him. Either in person or sent to the committee, he truly does the work and represents his constituents to the fullest. Thank you for being you Tim!

I never gave a floor speech after the Spillane censure vote, but I used it as the basis for an op-ed.

As we thought, he doubled down and made it clear he was not sorry. When you are a member of a larger group, you are not the only person affected by your actions. Even his own party was fed up with his constant bigoted rhetoric purposely meant to incite. The overwhelming bipartisan vote today made it clear that free speech does have its limits, as it sometimes should!

Citing his total lack of remorse, the NH House formally censures Rep. Travis Corcoran (R-Weare) 288-55 for toxic posts on social media that harmed his targets and “the reputation of the House of Representatives as a whole.”

I am happy to announce that Yours Truly will be RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION! The past two years have been very tough, trying, and there have definitely been many "temporary moments of insanity" along the way. Despite all of this I do see a light at the end of the tunnel and better days ahead.

We will prevail as long as people come out to vote, and do their research before doing so. Above all I love my constituents and appreciate their support through these tough times.
Myself and my colleagues (And even a few normal R's) are looking forward to undoing the damage that has been done this past session.

I will be on your doorstep very soon and look forward to catching up with my neighbors in Ward 1 and meeting folks who are new to our area!
