The annual Gail Singer Memorial Blood Drive is underway at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Manchester.
Today as part of the Corporate Challenge - Chief Allen Aldenberg and retired Officer Dan Doherty donated for the Manchester Police Team.
Officer Doherty was shot in line of duty and received a life saving blood transfusion. Now he is giving back.
The blood drive runs till 6pm and again tomorrow 9-6pm.
