Postal worker alerts firefighters to Pembroke dryer fire - New Hampshire Union Leader PEMBROKE — A dryer fire led to a second-alarm response to a house fire on Glass Street late Tuesday morning. A postal worker called reporting the smell of smoke from a home at 107 Glass St., according to Pembroke Fire Chief Harold Paulsen.
