We are excited to announce that we are officially producing energy at our new solar array at our Dunbarton farm. All the energy produced will be net-metered to farmers, New Americans that ORIS works with in our other programs, and to our Fresh Start Farms sites. This means our farmers and farming operations will save on their energy bills every month, as well as providing new opportunities for infrastructure on the farm! This project was installed by our friends at ReVision Energy, and supported by the NH Department of Energy, Thomas W. Haas Fund, All Points North Foundation, the Fraxinus Fund, Kathy and Frank Grossman, the Family 140 Fund, and Peggy and Reed Ueda. Special thanks to All Points North Foundation, which helped us create this video discussing the project!

Today is , as we navigate these unprecedented circumstances. ORIS and Fresh Start Farms remain fiercely dedicated to both supporting new Americans to build prosperous livelihoods and safeguarding food access for vulnerable communities. As the COVID-19 situation rapidly develops and causes disruptions to daily life, we anticipate long-term and far-reaching effects for our most marginalized communities, causing even greater financial and food insecurity.
Together, we can support limited-resource families and new American farmers to weather the storm. By making a donation, we will be able to purchase additional food from our farmers and other local farms and distribute it to communities in need in the months to come.
