Margaret M.L. Byrnes Named Next President & CEO of CASA of New Hampshire - CASA of New Hampshire 05/29/2026

The CASA of New Hampshire Board of Directors announced that Margaret M.L. Byrnes has been selected as the organization’s next President and CEO following a comprehensive statewide and national search. Byrnes will succeed Marcia “Marty” Sink, CASA of NH’s founder and longtime leader, who announced in late 2025 that she will retire after nearly four decades leading the organization she built from the ground up.

Byrnes began her career as a lawyer. She is currently the executive director of the nonprofit New Hampshire Municipal Association, where she furthered the organization’s mission to provide training, education, and advocacy for local officials, many of whom are volunteers, so that they may better serve their communities.

In addition to her wealth of professional and leadership experience, Byrnes has first-hand insight into CASA as she became a volunteer in 2021 and also serves as a peer mentor to new advocates.
