It was a great week of continuing education at the Iowa Homeland Security conference. Learning about how to better plan and prepare our county for needing mobile water treatment, better communication and planning with the DeafBlind community, mass fatality management, and measles response. We also had the opportunity to present and train on our new rapid deploy shelter. Thank you to DLX for assisting us with a demo model and training! Mabel was a hit at the conference and got to spend some quality time cuddling with her cousin Maverick, who is also a crisis response canine.
