Come join us on Saturday night for a celebration of sound - Beethoven Triple Concerto and Brahms 1st Symphony! You might be surprised to learn that some of our musicians graduated from the famed Juilliard School or Baylor School of Music and many hold graduate degrees in music, including PhDs. While I agree that historic preservation and environmental reviews could be streamlined, cutting public involvement and silencing State Historic Preservation Office and tribal voices is not the solution. Rather than working with experts to fix problems, Congressional staffers with zero expertise slashed and burned historic preservation and environmental consultation to rush federal projects to completion. We can do better than this.

The ND Legislature made “stripper wells” (oil wells producing less than 35 barrels a day) exempt from taxes even if enhanced oil recovery techniques later increased output. Other states reinstate taxes when production increases. Not ND. We are on track to lose $66 million in tax revenue this year. Is this responsible governance?

The data center bust may be sooner than we think. Some AI agents can now run on a smartphone. Getting a decommissioning bond up front is essential to protecting your community from having to clean the mess after the data center goes bust.

Demand isn’t about to let up, but prices will start plunging by factors of 10.
