🍂✨Thanks to everyone who came out to our fall garden cleanup yesterday. As staff, we always enjoy spending time with our community in the garden, working together!

🍂✨🪏That being said, there is still a lot of work to be done, so we are hosting another volunteer garden cleanup next week on Friday, October 30th, from Noon to 2pm.
- Tools and gloves will be provided.
- Come for as little or as long as you can.
- We have tasks big and small for any ability!
- Feel free to bring your own lunch and eat in the garden.

🍂🎃We will also be setting out the GCD truck for the start of our Pumpkin dump on Friday, October 30th! If you have pumpkins pre or post-Halloween that are rotting on your porch. Drop them in the GCD truck parked on Broadway in front of the garden. They will be fed to our coworker Leia's pigs, or composted in the garden's compost!

Farming here isn't just a living, it's generations handing the same ground to the next pair of hands. What we do as neighbors today decides whether that handoff keeps happening.

Those ditches along the property line aren't just ditches, they're how water moves to the fields that feed us. Keeping them clear of fences, trees, and debris keeps the whole system flowing for everyone.

Dust this time of year means the harvest is moving. It's the natural result of the food we all eat. It settles, the season passes, and we're all better for it.
