THE BATTLE FOR KANO STATE: APC AND NNPP CLASH IN THE SHADOW OF 2027.

It is appalling to see our time-honoured traditions being ridiculed by an individual who has no regard for our cultural heritage. The reinstatement of a deposed king is unprecedented and a clear mockery of our traditional institutions.

In our customs, when a king is dethroned, it is typically accompanied by banishment from the kingdom, a consequence that serves as a deterrent to others.

But in this case, we have a king who has been deposed and then reinstated, a move that undermines the very fabric of our traditions. This is a slap in the face to our ancestors and a betrayal of the trust placed in our leaders to uphold our cultural values.

We demand accountability from the individual responsible for this mockery and a return to the traditional norms that have guided our society for generations.

The federal government's actions in the KWANKOSO and GANDUJE case demonstrate a disregard for Kano State's authority, revealing a deeper political rivalry between Abuja and Kano.

This conflict is a manifestation of the intense political competition between the APC and NNPP parties, with implications for the 2027 election.

The coveted one million-plus votes from Kano State have become a highly contested prize in Nigeria's political landscape. The presidency is keenly focused on securing this vital bloc of votes from the Northern region, a traditional stronghold of political influence.

The stakes are high, and the battle for control of Kano's votes has become a high-stakes game of political chess.
With the 2027 election looming, the major political parties are manoeuvring to secure an advantage in Kano.

The APC and NNPP are locked in a fierce struggle to win the hearts and minds of Kano's voters, each side aware that control of this crucial state could tip the balance of power in their favour.

The presidency's intense interest in Kano's votes is a testament to the state's strategic importance in Nigeria's political calculus. As the parties jostle for position, the people of Kano are caught in the middle, their votes being courted and contested by rival factions vying for dominance.

In this high-pressure political environment, the stakes are high, and the outcome is far from certain. One thing is clear, however: the battle for Kano's votes will be a defining moment in Nigeria's political history, with far-reaching implications for the future of the country.

The phrase, LET THE POOR BREATH, which incidentally was originated by President Tinubu himself, has become a veiled passionate appeal for the government to always spare thoughts for the downtrodden when formulating people-friendly policies, especially given the pains and agonies the masses currently are experiencing.
