Early this morning, a juvenile humpback whale was discovered washed ashore at Roosevelt beach. The City is in contact with our Federal and State partners. A necropsy will be performed later this morning followed by burial. Please avoid the area to allow the various agencies to conduct their work.

K9 Campano “Camp” is ready for a holiday break as he is 3/4 of the way through K9 training. “Camp” is partnered with K9 Officer Luke and is assigned to the New York State Park Police Mid-State District Saratoga Zone.
