Despite the rain, Mrs. Plagenz's class had a full day at the school forest! It was full of exploration, imagination, and some fall learning led by Mrs. Vorron. They got to play in the nature play area, make friends with a tree (ask your child what this means), planted trees, and played in the sand dunes. After lunch, they helped Mrs. Vorron clean out her socks from all the nature items those sneaky squirrels put in them!
Thank you to the grown ups who were able to join them today!

Ms. Schroeder's little firefighters!😀

Kindergarten had a visit from the firefighters yesterday! They got to practice their skills in the survive alive house. They also got a short tour of the fire truck. Back in the classroom, firefighter Allison taught them more about fire safety, like stop, drop, and roll. Firefighter Nick dressed in this turnout gear so they could see that it's still a friendly firefighter underneath! Here are a few pictures and short video from Mrs. Plagenz class.
