Mankato Zero Waste Day in the Park

📺Bring: Your electronics to recycle; your small appliances (no phones or large appliances) for the Fix it Clinic; clothing for the clothing swap; and any mending you need done for the sewists.

🪡Sign up for a session “Get to Know your Sewing Machine."

Bring a donation for the Echo Food Shelf.

Mankato Area Zero Waste and Beyond Plastics, Living Earth Center, Blue Earth County Recycling and Hazardous Waste Center, South Central Minnesota Clean Energy Council, Region 9 Development Commission, Blue Earth Project, Visible Clothing Mending, Mankato Makerspace, and Echo Food Shelf will all have informational booths.

🎸🥁🎹Live music, 🌭🍕🍦🍩free food, and children’s activities will all be included.

Thanks to everyone who was able to join us for our first annual Cocktails & Caftans event at Nakato Bar & Grill today! It was such a fun afternoon of meeting new people, catching up with familiar faces, and enjoying some great conversation.

A special thank you to Representative Luke Frederick, Leah Hanson for Minnesota House, and Senator Nick Frentz for taking the time to stop by and say hello, and everyone who helped make our first annual Cocktails & Caftans such an enjoyable gathering!

I saw the 153 year old Kern Bridge today. It formerly crossed the Le Sueur River but was recently moved over the Blue Earth, connecting Sibely Park and Land of Memories.
