The Freedom Truck Museum is coming to Manning High School, celebrating America's 250th birthday! Join us for an amazing interactive journey through 250 years of history.

October 24 & 25: 10 AM - 5 PM

Hop on board to learn about the inspiring stories of the individuals who shaped our nation. Sign your name on the Declaration of Independence, crack a code from George Washington's spy ring, and discover how innovation and inspiration have driven America forward.

📚🎃 Get ready to READ, DRESS UP & CELEBRATE! 🎃📚

Manning Elementary School is excited to host our BOOK PARADE on Friday, October 30, 2026! 🦁📖✨
Students are invited to dress up as their favorite book character and join us as we celebrate the joy of reading! 📚👑🧙🏾‍♀️🦸🏽‍♂️🐉

🎉 Book Parade begins at 9:00 AM!
🍬 We are also collecting individually wrapped candy donations to help make our celebration extra sweet!

🌿🔬 4TH GRADE SCIENCE FIELD TRIP – CAMP LEOPOLD! 🚌🌲

Our 4th-grade students are getting ready for an exciting science adventure at Camp Leopold! We are looking forward to a wonderful day of hands-on learning, exploration, and outdoor discovery! 🌎🦋

📅 Field Trip Dates & Classes Attending:
🗓️ November 6, 2026: Mr. Dorch, Mrs. Patel, and Mrs. Sargent’s classes
🗓️ November 13, 2026: Mr. Rondina, Mrs. Gibbons, and Mrs. Pooser’s classes

📌 Important Reminders for Parents:
✅ Permission slips are due by Friday, October 30!
👟 Students should wear tennis shoes and comfortable clothing.
📵 No Cell Phones or Electronics: Camp Leopold has a strict no-cell-phone or electronics policy. Students are encouraged to leave all electronic devices at home. If a student brings a cell phone, it may be held in the classroom until the group returns for dismissal.

Report cards went home this afternoon. Tomorrow we will have parent-teacher conferences from 4 pm to 6 pm. Our book fair will also be open during conferences. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

🎪 “Cafeteria Circus: Where Healthy Choices Take Center Stage!” 🎪
