🐝💚 **HEY J/J FAMILIES! WE NEED OUR HIVE!** 💚🐝

The **BuzzBucks Store** is OPEN next Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, and our Hornets are READY TO SHOP! 🛍️🐝

But we need a few more awesome grown-ups to help make the magic happen!

Have an hour or two to spare? **WE'LL TAKE IT!** 🙌 And here's the thing — you don't even need to sign up during your own kiddo's class. Every helping hand counts!

The kids LOVE this little shopping adventure, and we want to make sure every Hornet gets their turn! 💚

🍎 You’re awesome to the core! 🍎

Our Robinson and J/J staff and teachers are simply the core of what makes our schools so amazing!

MESA loved treating our incredible staff to an Apple Nacho Bar, complete with fresh apples and all the delicious toppings to make the perfect sweet treat!

We love finding little ways to celebrate the amazing people who make such a BIG difference in our students’ lives every single day. Thank you for all you do to make our schools such special places to learn, grow, and thrive!

Shoutout to the MESA Staff Appreciation Committee, who came together and really brought some sweetness to a rainy Friday!

🔊 Hey, Grade 1 families!

Did a strange little object come home in your first grader’s backpack? There’s a pretty cool reason why! 🎶

As part of a MESA-funded in-school field trip, first graders are exploring the science of sound with the Discovery Museum!

Students are discovering how sound is created by vibrations and travels in waves through gases, liquids, and solids. They’re experimenting with pitch and resonance while creating and playing with unique sound makers made from everyday household materials. Who knew science could sound so fun?

Be sure to ask your first grader all about their new creation and what they learned!

And, as always, a big THANK YOU to our MESA community! Your support of our fundraisers makes hands-on learning experiences like this possible. Your generosity really does make a little magic happen in our schools! 💚🖤

TWO opportunities to help out! We have just a few more spots we need to fill!

We need 3 more volunteers! Can you help the Robinson Nurses with the Vision and Hearing Screening? It is easy, peasy, and fun!

What about helping sort at our Robinson side of the Food Drive? Also fun and we need all hands on deck!

We would appreciate any and all help you can provide. Sign up below.

Save the Date! On October 26th, our annual MESA Food Drive begins!

This food drive stocks the shelves of Mansfield Food Pantry during a really busy time of year and we are less than two weeks away! If you find yourself shopping and are able to add something to your cart, it would go such a long way in supporting our local community!

Every little bit helps, and together, our MESA community can make a big difference!

The items listed below are suggestions, but all non-perishable food donations are welcome and appreciated!

Let’s get ready MESA! 💚🖤

TGIF MESA!!! Today sure is giving gorgeous 🍂 fall vibes 🍂 as we head into what looks to be a bit of a mixed bag long weekend, weather-wise! Though it IS fall in New England...can we reaaalllly expect anything else?!?! ☀ 🌧 🌀

If you're headed food shopping this weekend we would LOVE if you'd consider picking up a few items from our suggested donations list in support of MESA's upcoming Food Drive! This drive is one of the largest in the community in support of Mansfield Food Pantry's incredible local efforts and comes at an essential time: just before the holidays!

We're also still in need of a few volunteers for our food drive setup, collection and transportation efforts so please check out the times available and see if you might be able to join us! https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0F4BACA629A5F49-66294675-mesa

If you've never joined us we promise this is one of the most rewarding events to participate in, you don't want to miss it! 💚 🖤

Thank you in advance for the incredible generosity we KNOW this community will show come Food Drive week! And happy three day weekend!!

🍝💚 **SERVING UP SOME BIG CHEESY LOVE FOR OUR CUSTODIANS TODAY!** 💚🍝

It’s **National Custodian Appreciation Day** and we are giving a HUGE MESA shoutout to the amazing custodians at J/J and Robinson who somehow keep our schools clean, safe, welcoming and in tip-top shape every. single. day.

Seriously, though. The floors. The messes. The spills. The mysterious sticky stuff. The million little things happening behind the scenes that the rest of us don’t even think about.

**WE SEE YOU. WE APPRECIATE YOU. AND WE ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE YOU.**

Our Staff Appreciation Committee put together pasta dinner baskets with all the fixings because obviously the only appropriate way to say thank you was with a little "carb-loaded appreciation."🍝

And because we can never resist a good cheesy pun…

💚✨**You are PASTA-tively the best.** 💚✨

Thank you for taking such incredible care of our schools, our staff and our kids. We appreciate you more than you know!
