🔥BURN BAN EXTENDED🔥

Due to continued drought conditions throughout our area, the parish-wide burn ban has been extended for another 30 days.
Unfortunately, we have not received sufficient rainfall to provide relief or ease our concerns about the increased risk of fires. Conditions remain dangerously dry, and we all need to do our part to help prevent wildfires and protect our homes, property, and community.

🚫 PLEASE DO NOT BURN!
Do not burn leaves, brush, trash, or other materials.
Do not throw cigarette butts out of your vehicle window.
Secure all low-hanging chains when hauling trailers to prevent sparks.

👀 If you see something, say something!
Report suspicious activity or fires immediately.

We ask everyone to take this burn ban seriously!!

⚠️BUR BAN REMINDER⚠️

We’re thankful for the little bit of rain we’ve received over the past 48 hours, but unfortunately, it has not been enough to significantly improve the drought conditions our area has been experiencing over the past several months.
Please remember that the parish-wide burn ban remains in effect through October 15th. 🚫🔥
We know everyone is ready to get back to normal, but we ask that you please continue to hold off on any outdoor burning until the ban has been lifted.
Even a small fire can quickly get out of control!

💉 Why Are Vaccinations Important?
Vaccinations are an important part of protecting our health and the health of those around us. They help reduce the risk of serious illness and can help protect our loved ones, especially young children, older adults, and those who may be more vulnerable to certain illnesses.

Taking the time to stay up to date on recommended vaccinations is one way we can help keep our families and our community healthier.
Prevention, awareness, and looking out for one another all play a role in building a stronger community.

🩸 LifeShare Blood Center Will Also Be Onsite!
Along with the vaccination clinic, LifeShare Blood Center will be joining us to help support the ongoing need for blood donations. Donating blood is a meaningful way to help patients and families in our region when they need it most.

Whether you stop by for a vaccination, donate blood, or simply come out to support this community event, we would love to see you!

Let's continue working together to protect our families, support our neighbors, and make a positive difference in our community.

🔥ELEVATED FIRE DANGER CONTINUES🔥

Another hot and dry week is expected across the area, and drought conditions remain very concerning.
Dry vegetation, low humidity, and unfavorable weather conditions can allow fires to start easily and spread rapidly.

🚫 The parish-wide BURN BAN remains in effect.
We urge all residents to refrain from all outdoor burning until the weather conditions improve and the burn ban has been officially lifted.

Please help us reduce the risk of wildfires and protect our residents and community.

DO NOT BURN‼️
Stay alert - Stay safe.
